| Oriental cats can best be
described as Siamese cats whose color is not restricted to the points.
Except for the color they are the same as Siamese. Same personality,
same body and head type. They are born with the color and pattern that
they will have as adults and it does not change as they mature.
They generally have green eyes. They come in over 200 different patterns and colors. They differ from Siamese by only one gene, the gene restricting color to the points (ears, feet, nose, tail). In most cat associations they are registered as a separate breed but allowed to outcross to Siamese.
